This is hands down the best playing modern tenor I have ever played.  I am the second owner of the instrument, which was bought from Kessler and Sons a few years ago.  I've had it for a couple of years and am heartbroken to sell it, but I rarely play it.  It weighs a full pound more than my King Silversonic.  You wouldn't think that would make much of a difference, but I have a vertebral disc issue and it makes a big difference for me even with my Vandoren harness.  This horn will make someone very happy to play!  More pics available on request.  It's so shiny that it's hard to get good pics!
I found this horn to be mouthpiece friendly, and got a super lush classical tone with a Yanagisawa 5.  For jazz, I used Otto Link, Guardala, and Theo Wanne's entire line of mouthpieces.  All sounded great, and I love Yani's for their flexibility to play any style well.
The WO35 is, I think, the best configuration of the sterling horns Yanagisawa makes.  I have always preferred a sterling neck, and the sterling bell adds a special resonance to the low end, which is why I love my King Silversonic.  I find the sterling body tube adds a warmth to the sound and lends a sort of "enveloping" experience of the sound from the player's perspective.  The brass bow on the other hand doesn't effect the sound much and is a much tougher metal for the most vulnerable part of the horn.
As you'd expect, the ergos and intonation are spot on, and the horn is gig ready.  I can play subtone Bb all the way into the altissimo without difficulty.
This is one of the cleanest used horns you will ever find.  There are nothing but slight surface scratches that don't penetrate the lacquer, and there is a small spot of lacquer missing on the side C and the octave key.  New retail on this instrument is ,000 and the "sale price" at Saxquest is nearly ,000 before tax.  You can save yourself thousands of dollars buying this horn instead.
Comes with original case and will be carefully packaged and shipped.
Due to the high value of the instrument, shipping will be FedEx with full insurance for purchase price.  Additional charges may apply for shipments outside of CONUS.
Domestic returns accepted, however, be aware that you will be responsible for return shipping with full insurance via FedEx, and a modest 5% restocking fee.  Refund will be processed when item is received in original condition and less the 5% restocking fee.
    International sales are final.
