    Description

    I think this is a lantern from the Wolf Safety Lamp Company of America, Inc.-although the label is missing.  I got it as a set from an estate sale and it was together with a duplicate lantern with the Wolf label.
    I read another article on these saying they are from around early1900's but I don't have any proof of that.
    Brass, with glass with hook at top and latch at the bottom.

    Please note:
    This one has some kind of paint on the side where it brushed across wet paint at some time in it's life and I didn't want to damage it by trying to remove it.
