    Description

    A lavishly embroidered and mirrored cotton skirt from India or Pakistan is a work of art in itself.
    Dark green cotton with a tie-dye print is overlaid with medallions of multicolor embroidery, with a wide embroidered border at the hem.
    Wide 2.5" waistband also is covered with stitching and mirrors.
    Waistband has a closure at one side with two flat hooks.
    No tags, labels, or sizing provided.  Looks to be a large or XL-  pls. see measurements:
    18.5" across top of waistband (flat); 33" from top of waistband to hem.
    This is a handmade item with many small irregularities that evoke the artisan's hand.  Also, some visible wear and discoloration along the hem.  Green fabric is crisp with no holes or stains.  The heavily embroidered elements were probably repurposed from an older vintage garment.
