VTG Cody c1942 "Belt Buckle" shaped compact w/ Org. Box Never Used

Unused Coty "Belt Buckle" Compact with original box. This compact was made by Coty c1942 The black enamel is perfect...nice high gloss. This is a book item and it can be found in one of my favorite books on collecting. "Vintage Compacts & Beauty Accessories" by Lynell Schwartz. It is pictured on pages 59 & 61. CONDITION: MINT Looks to have never been used. Box is mint also. THINGS TO POINT OUT: A small amount of pink rouge is on one puff. It may have been tested or just got on there from sitting on the rouge all these years. The coty name is still impressed into the rouge powder. Other items shown are not included unless specified.
