  • Modification Description: Elaborate open back attaches with hook and loop. Loop was damaged and replaced with black metal "loop."
  • Condition: Very Good Condition with amazing bead work that is in really good condition. A few loose threads and a couple of missing beads, very difficult to spot. Outer layer of navy blue dress looks like a silk or rayon crepe fabric, which is sheer and stretchy. The dress is fully lined in a light weight cotton muslin also in navy. The design of the back of the dress is amazing and the main feature of the dress. Connects with hook and eye which has been stabilized for secure use. The eye was originally a cloth loop which has been replaced with black metal one. Slits on sides are 11.5". Measures 32 " bust, 32 " waist, 36 " hips. Detailed measurements provided below. Beautifully designed and well made. Please pardon the wrinkles.

    Beadwork:
    The beaded and embroidered trim around the neckline and open back varies from 2" to 2.25".  There is trim around the short sleeves and down the sides.  The design is flowers, paisleys, and vines edged in beads.  A beautiful, elegant dress, very well made, fully lined.
    Condition:
    Very good condition with no damage I can find, some loose threads in the beadwork and a couple of missing beads (on sleeve and side trim).   No labels.  Please excuse wrinkles!
