Vintage '60s H N White King Cleveland TENOR Sax Saxophone MADE USA! FUNKY PLAYER

$ 174.23

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Type: Tenor Saxophone
  • MPN: Does Not Apply
  • Condition: Appearance is pretty much what you'd expect from an intermediate/semi-pro level horn that has been played FOR 60 PLUS YEARS & casually handled. Wear is confined mostly to finish rather than structural, although there is a great deal of lacquer loss . Has escaped the typical 'Whoops, dropped the horn' drama that brutalizes most of these instruments. At worst, there are a few minor dings here and there rather than crushing bends and serious dents. Cosmetic wear is within limits for the usual instrument contact points. Pads look like they were replaced on an 'as-needed' basis rather than a group. Functional but mixed. Cork is okay but must be mated to your mouthpiece - relatively easy to replace. Suggest re-padding to bring out the horn's full pot

    I play some tenor sax - not really great, mind you - and tested the horn. Got all the notes, top to bottom - LOTS OF PUNCH!
    If I can, you can! Again - new pads would work miracles here!
