Vintage 1970’s Stratton English Blue Wedgwood Japerware Powder & Mirror Compact

I’ve been obsessed with vintage compacts lately. They just make you feel so fancy pulling them out of your bag ❤️. I also think this would be gorgeous used in a vintage bridal shoot. This lovely vintage English Stratton Compact has a Wedgwood cover in blue Jasperware depicting three angels or the three muses. The wedgewood plaque is framed with the classic Stratton scalloped design in gold tone metal. There is a push button clasp that opens to reveal The interior of this piece which has a nice large mirror inside the cover. The base features Stratton's famous patented convertible compact structure which was designed to hold either loose powder or pressed powder. The bottom of this compact is gold tone with the lines and spots texture dating it to the 1970’s.
