Vintage Conn 14M Director (Shooting Stars) Saxophone with original Case. Made in 1955 at the Elkhart facility. Serial Number 555562
Comes with unmarked, white, non rubber mouthpiece; original neck strap; lyre; stand; keys to case
This Sax is all original, in gorgeous shape, lacquer is impeccable, nickel plated keys, great condition for the age. Has not been played or out of case since the 60's.
This is one of the earlier Elkhart models, a different horn than the ones made in the 60's. The early Directors are very good quality horns. They have some toolings from earlier pro Conns and are considered excellent horns by many.
