For sale is a freshly serviced
1946 The Buescher Aristocrat “Big B” True Tone alto sax, serial number
307944. This horn is freshly serviced  and was play tested by a professional music store/
repair shop. Proof of adjustments, other work performed, and play testing will accompany the instrument in the form of a
receipt
(8-22-21) from the music store.
There is
minor finish wear and very small dents as you would expect from an instrument of this vintage. Please refer to the pictures for condition details.
The original case is in very good condition with all latches and hinges working as they should along with the inside felt in great condition.
The mouthpiece is from the Woodwind Company.
The
best part of course is the sound! The Big B has a
warm tone with a lot of resonance and punch.
Bueschers from this era are known for being great playing instruments, and this horn
definitely is.
