For those who follow my work… You know I have a soft spot in my heart for these American-Made pieces. This is a well preserved American made Rawlings Heart of the Hide first base mitt/glove. Model: PRO1HFB . Size: ~12.5 inches . The date code: BEA01 …. BEA - Places this glove as being produced in 1990 , 01 - indicates Horween Tannery Leather (most desirable). Just last week, I fully relaced the glove in brand new Tan Leather lacing. Turned out FANTASTIC! And, the Interior is just as good as the exterior: Awesome! Ready for play, or display!!!
