    Description

    Central Bank of Barbados E.Fine. Although banknotes had been previously introduced to the island, including the bill, it wasn't until after the island's Independence in 1966 that all denominations of banknotes were in real circulation in Barbados. It wasn't until 1980 that the 2 dollar note was introduced  and became the lowest denomination of printed Barbadian currency.
