Twisted iron Heating Hanging Rack Heating Plate (?) Miners Cooking (?)

Description

Not sure what this is, nor does anyone else I've ever asked.  Had it for many years.  You can see it has a twisted hook for hanging at the top, and also curved hooks at bottom for possibly hanging clothes on?  In the middle is an obvious heating element with a lid and a perforated bottom.
It must be pretty rare as there seems to be nothing anywhere on the Internet that matches it.  Pretty heavy, weighing about 4 lbs.
