SML Rev. D Professional Alto Saxophone in Perma-Gold Finish SN 10987 EXCELLENT

This is an AWESOME SML professional alto saxophone.
The SML saxes are the 'other' French saxophone and have a very strong following of dedicated players. They blow LOUD and have that sweet tone quality that can be so hard to find. This sax is in very nice condition. This saxophone is in rare, original Perma-Gold finish. Finish is 90% present, but due to resolders and previous repair work there are some areas where it is all gone or slightly burnt. (Perma-Gold is not actually gold but an unusual lacquer finish that SML used.) All in all, looks pretty nice. Plays down to low Bb. Pads and action are excellent, springs feel good. This has just been through the shop and is ready to play. Case is in good condition.
