Shawnee Green Quilted Daisy Planter with Attached Saucer 5"

Description

(GAR-) Vintage Shawnee Pottery green quilted daisy planter with attached saucer.  This planter measures 5" H x 5" W and the base measures 4" with a 1" high rim.  The underside of the planter is marked USA 455.
This planters has been packed up in the garage for a very long time and we recommend cleaning the planter before use.
NOTE: THE STUDIO LIGHTING DEPICTS THE PLANTER IN A SLIGHTLY COOLER GREEN TONE.  THE SECOND LISTING PHOTO WAS TAKEN IN A NATURAL LIGHTING SETTING AND SHOWS THE ACTUAL COLOR OF THE PLANTE WHICH IS A DEEPER TONE OF GREEN.
CONDITION:  This old planter has crazing in the glaze.  The glaze on the saucer is dull from age and use.  The glaze along the rim of the planter is dulled and has mineral deposits as shown in the listing photos. There is a slice in the edge of the planter's base that is a natural manufacturing defect and not a result of age or use.  There are mineral deposits on the inside and rim of the saucer base.
