SELMER Super Balanced Action SBA Tenor Sax SN 50xxx

We have for sale a Selmer SBA Super Balanced Action Tenor sax with American engraving and matching sn 50xxx neck from arguably Selmer's best time period for SBA's.
The horn has a super cool patina and is very solid with almost no signs of repairs or history of abuse. It looks like one low Eb guard foot was resoldered and the bell lip shows a little evidence of having been very slightly bent, but it has been corrected and looks great now. Other than that, there are just a few typical minor dings here and there, but no major dents or history of dent repairs. The neck is still in excellent condition without signs of pulldown.
The interesting thing with this one is that the keys are plated. There aren't records of the finishes for SBA's assembled in the US, so it's possible that a few horns had plated keys from the factory, but it's more likely the horn had been refinished later on. While it might not be a museum piece, it definitely has the look that so many modern manufacturers are trying to imitate, and for a player who is after a fantastic SBA, this could be a perfect fit.
