    Description

    Patriotic SELMER AS300 USA Alto Sax in Very Good Condition w/Original Case. Serial #1331297.
    This horn arrive here with no neck, so I checked out what I had and found this blue neck on the shelf. It fit very well and, after play testing it, discovered that the intonation was very good (I tried a Bundy neck on it, but it made the horn play almost a whole note flat - looked good, but not good). The sax plays great after being cleaned and adjusted. Pads, felts, and corking were replaced where needed and the spring action is quick. The tone is even and full throughout the registers with the included Selmer Goldentone 3 mouthpiece. Cosmetically, there are no major dents, a couple dings, scuffs, and scratches on the bow, with scratches on the bell, and the blue replacement neck is almost brand new. The key finish is very good with the pads in from very good to great shape. The decals and accents can be easily removed if you desire. Included with this spirited alto are the Selmer original sturdy case, a new microfiber polishing cloth, a black neckstrap, a new black plastic octave key protector cap, and the Selmer "Golden Tone" 3 mouthpiece, w/ligature, Yamaha brass cap, and Rico Plasticover reed.
