    Description

Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone. Made in Paris, France circa 1964-65. This is the same sax that John Coltrane played. It was renovated in the summer of 2018 and recently adjusted within the last few months.
It has some scratches in the lacquer here and there, but it is structurally perfect with the sound being incomparable. Case, Bobby Dukoff D7 mouthpiece and accessories included.
I am selling this instrument for a friend of mine who was a college professor and top player in Europe. He recently had a medical issue and became incapacitated and is no longer able to play. Although I am not a sax player, I am a musician and will do my best to find out any information about it for you. My friend and I used to play gigs together in California, in which he played this Selmer in our band -- it's got an incredible tone like none other.
