Selmer Mark VI 1964

Description

This horn was overhauled by Ken Beason about 18 months or so ago, maybe 2 years, anyway I was in the mountains this past Christmas (2020) and had him look it over and the overhaul is still in perfect condition, he didn't have to do a thing to the horn. I always use the key clamps when the horn is not in use, it is pictured on a Yanagisawa case which is what I used when I carried the horn, however I still have the original and you can have your choice of which case you like.
It is an incredible saxophone, it really provides some great flexibility depending on what you would like to play, it has a really vibrant thick tone, and I have played many hours on this horn. The reason I am selling it is I have come to prefer the more modern keywork of a Yamaha YAS 874 EX ii, which is also a fantastic horn, I could keep them both but don't really see the point as the VI stays in the case a lot for me. Ken Beason does impeccable work and I think you will be very pleased with this sax. Thanks for looking.
