    Rare Vintage Art Deco Vanstyle Compact
    Black Enamel with Silver Flamingo.
    Circa 1920's
    These glamorous compacts were very popular in their day.
    Beautiful and stylish.
    Gently used condition with little wear.
    Mirror and powder container are in excellent condition.
    Missing powder puff.
    The front shows minor wear and the back has a portion of the enamel worn off, shown in my picture.
    All hinges and clasp work perfectly and smooth.

    Approx 4” diameter
    **The only one I have seen was sold on Etsy in 2016 for .00.
    This appears to be a rare cosmetic compact marked with the Hallmark "Vanstyle".
    This is a "flapjack" - "pancake" style compact and a wonderful 1920's vintage Art Deco item.
    This rare
