    Description

    A Custom Doily Configuration
    *** Priced per piece!!!***
    (the photos show a 4 piece, 7 piece, 14 piece & a design for a 61 piece )
Did I mention that this was
    priced per piece
, so when we figure out your personal CUSTOM configuration
then please choose the number of pieces to purchase!!
Please contact me with your color thoughts and we will work with what's in my thread basket to come up with something that you'll treasure!!!  Even the a single piece all in white looks lovely as a Christmas Tree Ornament!!!
    Measurements:
Each piece is approximately 2.5" long -- and 2" wide.
So the 7-piece doily shown is approximately 6 inches across the center left-to-right.
Take a look at how they are put together:
    The 7-piece
is (top to bottom) 2-3-2 to make a group of 7.
    The
    14-piece
is (side to side) 2-3-4-3-2 to make a group of 14!
    The
    61-piece
(top to bottom) is 5-6-7-8-9-8-7-6-5 for a huge group of 61.
This last one is also pictured in a much larger version, made with a larger thread, to fit a coffee table. It also has an edging on it, which is equivalent to approximately double the cost. But do contact me if this is something in which you might be interested!!  Yes, this one cost in the hundreds - - but what a stunning outcome!!
Another combo that would look nice is:
    1-2-1 for the 4-piece.
    1-2-3 would give a triangle-look.
    Coloring:
Color(s) in tatting are put together on the rings and the chains.
You can have one color for all rings & chains to make it a solid color.
Or you can play with the configuration (like the second photo) and have some solids and some (in this case chains) with another color added in.
    ***
For special color usage, I suggest you print out a picture of the doily design
and use it to help figure out what you would like
    .***
Please email me all along the stages so that TOGETHER
we can ensure you get what you are looking for!!  :)
*** This doily comes with a story!!  I have a friend who has a literal pile of her mother's doilies and this is the pattern used. As I have yet to find it's original source, and I cannot verify that it was her own, I am at a loss as to whom to thank for this lovely pattern. The mom's name was Paulina, so that is the name I have given to this pattern for the time being, to honor the one from whom I received the pattern. ***
