This listing is for a
Micro Dream Mat Sluice Box for Fine Gold Recovery &
Recirculation, better known as" A Heck of A Sluice". The name was dubbed by Venture West, our local Prospecting/Mining Shop and myself.
DISCLAIMER
– NEW parts are used to build all my handmade sluice boxes.  With this group, however, the u-shaped channel had some minor cosmetic scratches/blemishes located on the outside bottom. The price have been reduced to reflect these imperfections.  Please note in no way will this interfere with the operation of this Fine Gold Recovery Sluice Box.

ade these from Rain Gutters back around 1996 when I retired. They have gone through several design and material changes, and this item is my latest product.
Made from 1/8" thick extruded White PVC
Size is about 24" long x 5" wide and 2" deep
This is a two stage Sluice Box
First Stage. Water mixes with your WET gold bearing concentrates. This area is painted Hunter Green to show the Gold.
Second Stage the liquified concentrates travels over a length of DREAM MICRO MAT.
The Mat is not glued in place. It is held down by a removable plate which is easily removed. This allows you to use different types of, mats, carpet, miners moss w/raised expandable metal, vortex gold  mat, etc.
A piece of medium scouring pad is used
to even out the water flow.
You may use the sluice with or without the scotch bright material. Try both ways with your concentrates to see which one works the best.
When not using the sluice, loosen the wing nuts to relieve pressure on the foam material under the metal strip.
This foam material is used to help keep the smallest pieces of material from traveling underneath the Mat.
The Sluice includes a Water Valve/Hose Barb and 90 degree elbow.
You may hookup the Sluice to city water or use a water recirculation system.
Operating instructions and Dream Mat care are provided.
Also a flat piece of clear plastic is used under the Dream Mat to lift it above the side curved radiuses. This helps to keep the mat flat.
Different types of: Mats, Carpet, Miners Moss w/raised expandable metal, Vortex Gold Mat are not included.
500 GPH water pump, bilge hose and tub are not included .
