    Description

    This is a nice, original letter to Thomas Nichol from The Bentwood School Furniture Company proprietors C.J. Higgins and T.F. Ryan. The Bentwood School Furniture Company was based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Dated May 2, 1872.
    Mr. Nichol was a businessman in agricultural machinery and later in life he was involved in the transition to the presidency for President James Garfield as well as becoming a Judge.
    Measures 8.5" x 11" and contains original envelope.
    Letter has mailing folds and is in good condition overall, envelope has wear that is shown in photos.
