    About this item:
***ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS PICTURED***
This vintage sax is in BEAUTIFUL condition. It has been relacquered and may have been silver originally. Originally built in the early 1900s, probably between 1910 and 1920 in 9 Place Du Combat, Paris. It has the Lyrist, R. Briard signature. It also has the engraving "Soliste de la Garde Republicaine" with the original pearl inlays. It was more than likely a military issued saxophone that was made to play great and be durable. It does play, but may need adjustments depending on personal preference. It comes with the original case. Quite a cool saxophone and a piece of history.
