    Fascinating court sworn affidavit involving a major family gun battle that involves the following persons James ketchell Mr. L.Meads Robert Erwin L.H.Robinson Elisha G.A. James Robinson Jackson Dickson John W. Bowels Johan Dickson Johan Dickson John Pickens This document is part of the Pickens family archive from Hardin County, TN and Lauderdale County, Alabama. Undated the 6 x 13 inch document appears to from the 1830’s and as early as 1820. Somewhat difficult to make out family names and chain of events due to grammar & spelling interpretations, but it’s still very clear this was a viscous altercation involving pistols and some bad blood. I have carefully photographed each page and paragraph by paragraph to help you interpret document.
