    Description

    This is a much-played 1952 King Zephyr Alto Serial number 322174. It was re-lacquered many years ago and has had the low Eb and C key guards replaced with Selmer MK VI guards at some time in its past. No dents other than some distortion to the lower bow guard. We overhauled it with new pads and corks. Mechanism tight. Tone holes are level and it has a strong sound characteristic of King Zephyrs. We installed flat metal boosters. It comes with a new replacement case and the older Brilhart mouthpiece with a serial number. Please see photographs. This old Zephyr won’t win any beauty contests but represents a solid, quality, alto for about half of what these are currently selling for. 5 plus shipping.
