King Marigaux Tenor Saxophone (SML Stencil).
I’m selling my King Marigaux Tenor. These are particularly interesting horns. They were manufactured by SML (Strasser-Marigaux-Lemaire) and bear many similarities to the SML Revision D and Gold Medal models. It is made from the same post-war French brass that makes many Selmers coveted.
This particular instrument shows very little wear and tear. The lacquer is nearly 100%. The instrument seals well, and plays wonderfully. It has a deep and full sound all the way down to low Bb. Another interesting feature is the articulation switch on the Low C#, which allows one to determine if the G# pad also opens when depressing the C# key. Very useful for certain passages.
This saxophone was meticulously cared for and is in great playing condition. Perfect for the advancing student, or professional doubler.
