    This is a nice, original, letter from J.W. Rusk to Thomas Nichol. Rusk is showing concern about the health of Mr. Nichol.
    Jerimiah McClain Rusk was sworn in as Wisconsin Governor a day before this letter was written, it was one of his first official correspondences as Governor.
    Mr. Nichol was a businessman in agricultural machinery and later in life he was involved in the transition to the presidency for President James Garfield.
    Measures 5.5" x 8.5" and contains original envelope.
    Letter has folds but is in good condition overall, envelope has wear that is shown in photos.
