Description

This Jamaica 100 Dollar banknote from 2021 is printed in a Hybrid substrate with the serial number at right appears in a wave pattern with the last three digits set against a dark background. The banknote's front design bears a portrait of former Prime Minister Sir Donald Sangster along with a map of Jamaica, the national emblem, jacaranda flowers, and an ackee fruit. The reverse side features a picturesque view of a man and a woman in Dunns River Falls near Ocho Rios with ackee fruit on the side. The note measures 145 x 68 mm and is equipped with a windowed security thread with demetalized BOJ 100 to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of Donald Sangster with electrotype 100 and flower. This note is in uncirculated condition.
