Sample the materials in the stream or riverbed before carrying in the heavy
    equipment.
Teachers and researcher,  these are also great for collecting sediments and the critters that live there.
GoldSuckers are available in four sizes. The
    BackPacker II
at 2"X34" has more suction power than the 1-1/2"X34", but, it is compact enough to still fit in most backpacks. The
    BackPacker ll
when assembled is 34" and only 20" when broken down for transport. A
    BackPacker II
and a gold pan is great for the prospector or to have along when hiking or camping in gold country.

The screw-on collection jar is easy to empty without losing your materials back into the stream.  Each GoldSucker comes with three jars to save your sediments and cons to pan out later, thus saving you valuable time on the site.  They are made of PET plastic which is very durable.
The seals are made of a resilient EVA closed cell foam,  They are long lasting and seldom need adjustment or replacement. an e
xtra set of seals is included with each order.
Plus, free replacements are always available for small shipping fee.
MB Manufacturing GoldSucker are American made by a veteran.

I use American made made materials with only the foam for the seals being foreign made but the material is locally sourced.  The handle and all hardware is stainless steel so there are no durability or rust issues.
I have been selling these for ten years now and are exactly what I used when I was still able to get out and prospect. All modification during that time were made to improve the GoldSucker and never to lower the cost so you can depend on these for many years to come.
