Up for auction is a professional H. N. White King Super 20 "Silver Sonic" alto saxophone with sterling silver bell and neck. This third series vintage Super 20 alto sax is complete and no keys are missing or broken. The pads and corks are in fair condition and all keys move freely. This has been shop adjusted and plays fine on older pads, but the pads may need to be replaced in the near future for optimal performance or personal preference. There are a few minor body dents present and the neck has several minor dings, with no signs of pull down. The serial number is in the 390,xxx range and dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1962. There are scratches throughout from normal use and some lacquer wear, with approximately 85% of the lacquer intact(may not be original). This alto sax plays fine now, but an adjustment may be required after shipping and for personal preference. Included is a somewhat used and worn King wood shell alto saxophone case(provides a snug fit for shipping, latches catch but they need new springs and the interior has a musty smell) and a body end plug. The pictures provided show the actual condition of what is being sold and considered part of the description.
No mouthpiece is included.
