Anyhydrous Borax (Na2B4O7) Potassium Nitrate (KNO3)
Sodium Carbonate (Na2CO3) Silica Sand (SiO2)
GPK Refining flux is a a custom mixed formulation
for refining gold and smelting complex ore concentrates.
GPK Refining flux is a strong oxidizing flux that is designed to oxidize
base metals and help remove them from placer and low karat gold
during the smelting process.  Complex ore concentrates containing
sulfide compounds of iron and base metals are oxidized and form silicates
during the smelting process, helping to prevent them from reducing and forming alloys with
the gold fraction of your concentrate. Using Fire Clay crucibles is a necessary component
of the process for the best results.
