Set includes the materials needed to melt scrap metals, old Jewelry, grindings into Ingots.
Crucibles
in this Melting Kit
(2 Sizes)
can be used for melting
Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper, Brass and more.
Crucibles are made of High Grade Fused Silica and withstand temperatures up to
2500°F/1,371°C.
Tong Handle
to hold and handle dish crucibles, as well as the Ingot Mold when HOT. Tongs have a bent nose for easy handleing, are made of Stainless Steel having an overall length of 11-1/2”.
Borax
for glazing/coating ceramic crucibles to provide for a smooth skin and prolong the life of the crucible and to control oxidation on metal surfaces whenever melting.
Carbon Stirring Rod

Ingot Mold
is made with High Density fine grain Graphite is machined Graphite is self-releasing that produces smooth, clean and bright ingots.
The graphite mold can be used in making square button form with Precious Metals like Gold, Silver as well as Copper Brass and more…Ingot has 6 open cavities each having a 1oz. maximum capacity for Gold, can be used for less volume.
The weight of each button will depend on the metal your working with and how full you fill each cavity, the capacity of 1oz. is for Gold and for Silver the capacity will be about 1/2 oz.
