We sell quite a few of these in our Mining Museum - Each one is painted by hand!
The miner and donkey was hand-painted on real quartz rock from the historic Rand Mining District.
There were three mining booms here; gold, silver and tungsten. My wife and I are gold prospectors in the area.
I also painted simulated gold veins on the quartz for a unique artistic addition. Great for a coffee table, yard art, desk, a gift, etc.
