    Description

    Here are
Five “Real Photo” Postcards of the 1933 Long Beach Earthquake
    . Each is approximately
    5.5 x 3.5 inches
    with a
black & white photo on the front side
    and the
    standard postcard backside
with a place for the stamp, address, and correspondence message.
    None have been posted
and the backsides have no writing or other blemishes. All are in
    Good to Very Good Condition
for their age, with very minor warping from storage. Each of the photos has a descriptive inscription: (1) 3
    rd
Street East of Pine, Long Beach Cal; (2) Earthquake Cracks, March 10, 1933; (3) Jefferson Jr. High, Long Beach Calif; (4) Fire Dept, Long Beach, Calif; and (5) Morrison Apartments, Long Beach. The postcards were in a box passed down from my grandfather who lived on Pine Street at that time, and they have been kept in our closet for over 40 years.
