    Edward Hunter Ludlow
    (1810-1884) - American physician & real estate broker of New York, and scion of a prominent Hudson River family.  He married into the Livingston family and was the grandfather of Anna Hall Roosevelt (wife of Theodore Roosevelt's brother Elliott.)
    Autograph letter signed in ink, E.H. Ludlow Co., Sept. 3, 1863, New York, on business stationery, 1p octavo w/ hand carried cover to Messrs C. J. & E DeWitt, re a property matter.
    Written entirely in Ludlow's hand.
    Authentic item in overall excellent condition.  Cover w/ toning.
