Pictured are a complete hand dredge piston assembly and two custom check valves.
These are the most critical parts needed to construct a hose and bucket hand dredge system similar to the popular SANDMAN SYSTEM.
There are many individual do-it-yourselfers that would like and are quite capable of constructing their own hand dredge rather than purchase a fully assembled product. Usually this entails being able to design and construct a viable piston as well as the needed valves to make their project come true.
Truth be told, one can probably find all the basic piece parts needed to string these items together - if only we knew how....
Well this product offering takes away most of the "if onlys" and provide a well constructed and properly engineered group of the most important parts needed to construct a hose & bucket hand dredge like the SANDMAN SYSTEM or other similar type 1.5" hose & bucket products offered elsewhere.
All the guess work and a significant amount of the leg work has been done for you - all you need are some plumbing fittings, the plastic pipe, and desire to design and build your hand dredge.
The adjustable piston shown above will attach/glue directly onto a 1/2" PVC pipe piston actuation rod and then slip into a 1.5" ID PVC or ABS pipe. When installed it can be adjusted for sliding friction to your specific need.
The valves have a 1 inch throat and will fit into any common 1.5" diameter ABS or PVC pipe.
All you need is your own abilities and desire to build a custom hose & bucket hand dredge and your there.
