    Description

Folded sheet titled "Spread of Principles".  Not dated, not signed.  Circa, 1840's determined by reference to cholera outbreak in Sunderland, 1831.  The note speculates on how cholera spreads, an early attempt to explain pandemics.  While it was later discovered that cholera spread by water or feces, the concept of airborne transmission of disease used to explain how a disease started in Asia spread has obvious significance to today's pandemic.
A transcription of the sheet is shown in the last photo.
    Very Good.
