    Description

Mauriat Tenor Sax 66R Rolled Tone.
66R Rolled Tone Mauriat Tenor Sax - overhauled and modified by Emilio Lyons
Mint condition tenor saxophone with dark, warm and very big sound. Owned by a professional musician for the last 10 years, this tenor was played around the world and recorded in several albums. The horn was overhauled and has been regularly maintained by saxophone repairman legend Emilio Lyon in Boston, who also modified the palm keys for maximum technical ease.
The PMXT-66R Series Tenor Saxophones incorporate P. Mauriat's unique rolling process which fully utilizes the saxophone's existing material. Unlike rolled toneholes of the past, there is no soldering here, the toneholes are drawn from the body and then rolled over allowing superior resonance throughout the entire saxophone and increased response in all ranges. The PMXT-66R also has an enlarged bell that lets the warm, fat sound of this exceptional horn really cut through an ensemble. This professional class instrument also features a Super VI style neck, abalone key touches, and hand engraving on the bell and bow.
No dents, great old vintage look to it and ready for the next owner. This saxophone is a steal!
