    Description

    Up for auction is a used professional Selmer Paris Super Balanced Action(SBA) tenor saxophone. Most keys move freely and the pads/corks are only in fair condition(has older dry pads, which should be replaced soon for optimal performance). There are NO patches and No major dents present. This tenor saxophone has scratches throughout from normal use and lacquer wear is noticeable, with approximately 75-80% of lacquer intact(most likely this has been professionally re-lacquered at some time). There is noticeable engraving detail on the bell/bow and the matching body/neck serial number is in the lower 47,xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to 1951. This tenor sax would benefit from new pads/overhaul upon delivery. Included is a well used, structurally sound wood shell tenor saxophone case(latches catch, but springs are broken, missing one case handle and the other case handle needs to be replaced soon) and a granadilla wood body end plug. No mouthpiece is included.
