Description
Hello, sax lovers.Well...it's come to this. Bought this beaut over the dreaded lockdown...in hopes to learn and help myself feel better due to the situation at hand.
Eventually I got a job...and just gave up overall on trying to learn. Oh well!
When I got the thing it needed a complete overhaul, which has been done (new pads, cleaning, key adjustments, polish, etc.)
There are many very *neat* features.
-diamond-esque key guard
-micro tuner on neck
-mother-of-pearl key touches
-a very simple yet very quaint floral engraving on bell (see photos)
-comes with a Rampone & Cazzani sturdy saxophone case
-I'll throw in some key leaves cause...well, I don't need em anymore.
I will say, since it has been sitting in my room (which has been hot when we keep the AC off) it has become a little tarnished (see photos). This is not damaging in any way, save for maybe your pride because ideally, you'd want it to be sparkling. This can easily be removed with little chemical intervention.
One other thing: the previous owner for some ungodly reason had an input for amplification installed in the neck (see photos). Again, does not affect playability, and is plugged completely.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading this essay. Ask any questions and feel free to ask me anything (even non-sax related questions)
Yours in music,
Nigel
