    Description

    Up for auction is a used and rare professional Selmer Paris Balanced Action alto saxophone. All keys move freely and the pads/corks are in fair condition to good condition. There are no major dents present and several minor dings don't affect performance. This alto saxophone play fine on older pads, has scratches throughout from normal use and lacquer wear is noticeable, with approximately 70-75% of lacquer intact(lacquer may be original). There is noticeable engraving detail on the bell/bow and the serial number is in the 21,xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to 1936. The neck has no visible serial number. Included is a used Selmer wood shell alto saxophone case with two handles and working latches. No mouthpiece is included.
