1925 Conn New Wonder Chu Berry Alto Saxophone

This is a 1925 Conn New Wonder Chu Berry Alto Saxophone. Serial Number #M156454. Made by Elkhart Ind. U.S.A.. This sax has been played and loved for a long time. I believe 1925 was the first year of production of the Chu Berry but i could be wrong. It has a lot of wear on the finish as pictured. It definitely has aged in a really cool/gorgeous way. The bell has a gold highlight over the emblem as pictured. Im not sure if it was once gold washed or has worn in this fashion, either way it looks incredibly cool(the pictures don't do it justice). The pads are in great shape and put on recently. The sax plays fairly well as is but I'd recommend having it adjusted a little bit to get it in 100%  perfect playing condition(its probably  90% of the way there as far as adjustments go). The tone of this sax is incredible. It has a gorgeous vintage bright sound. This would be a perfect sax for any professional who wants that old sound with that 94 years of love on the finish of the sax. Comes with a nice case(not original) and an All Star U.S.A  C mouthpiece, ligature, and cap.
