    MARCH 12, 1834 LETTER FOLDED AND ADDRESSED
    This is a stampless letter from the 19th century. It is in very good condition and is postmarked "CHAMBY, PA".
    It is addressed to Elia Beatty, ESQ of Hagerstown, MD
    There was a wax seal at one time, but it must have been removed when the letter was opened, leaving a hole
    in the letter (see picture).
